What is the Platform?

Culture for Resilience platform, is a new component of the BSR Cultural Pearls project. This platform is designed to support cities and municipalities in fostering societal development and cultural resilience.

The Platform includes dedicated sections focused on:

  • Methods: specifically designed to highlight effective strategies and practices,
  • Practical Cases: real-life examples of successful initiatives that have contributed to community resilience,
  • Cities from the BSR Cultural Pearls project.

The main objective is that cities, stakeholders, or players can search for information about other’s conditions around the Baltic Sea region and seek insight into which methods and tools they prefer to use. It will be possible to search for information on how the methods work and in what context they have been used. Additionally, the platform will allow you to explore effective practices and case studies from different countries, providing valuable perspectives on how various communities address their unique challenges.

What is the BRS Cultural Pearls?

The project BRS Cultural Pearls, co-funded by the EU’s Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme, aims to strengthen social resilience in Baltic Sea Region municipalities by harnessing the potential of local assets of culture and creativity.

BSR Cultural Pearls is a title for small and medium size towns and cities that provides awarded candidates a peer-learning opportunities and support to use culture to build social resilience. By engaging and involving their citizens, increasing quality of life, sense of belonging and trust, they will be able to make their communities stronger and more resilient
