WHAT IS IT?
Villages, towns, districts or communities are invited to develop their own cultural program. The development happens in a co-creative workshop. Together with the residents, the aim of this workshop is to find out which topics are of concern to the community. Based on this, the cultural format is developed in cooperation with employees of the cultural institutions. The results are presented to the community.
KreisKultur strengthens dialogue and understanding through the development of a joint cultural project. New impulses and activities revitalize the village community. Cohesion and togetherness are strengthened. At the end of the common path there will be a unique event in the community. Working together with interested villages, towns, districts or municipalities and developing an idea for a new cultural programme for their town with the people. With creative tasks, it is important to work out the topics that concern the participants. For the implementation, the aim is to bring the place together with a cultural institution. This means that a suitable expert comes to the village and implements the developed idea together with the people. In this way, the cultural institutions create connections in the rural areas of our district and strengthen social cohesion – active in the village, in the region, in society.
The funding takes place in cooperation with the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde. The aim of the funding is to change cultural institutions in such a way that they focus more on rural areas and thus contribute to strengthening their infrastructure.
